(re)connect is a charity organization that connects volunteers with children around the world. with (re)connect, our children have the opportunity to learn different languages without limits. this project allows users to smoothly register as volunters through the (re)connect website.

Melanie Kim is a student at Stanford University. As her final years in college are around the corner, Melanie hopes to gain the opportunity to teach children French. As Melanie understands the privilege she had, she desires to bring education to children who ddon’t have access to good education. She loves spending time with kids and is always looking for a way for her to give back to the world.

literal translation for ‘apple’ in korean can mean both ‘an apology’ and the ‘fruit’
